Apex Thought is Kuala Lumpur's premier debate academy, offering structured British Parliamentary (BP) debate training for children and teenagers from age 5 through 18+. Our classes are held at WORQ, Glo Damansara in TTDI - easily accessible from across KL, Bangsar, Mont Kiara, Hartamas, and the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Founded by Dr Shantini Karalasingam (PhD, University of Nottingham), Apex Thought has trained over 200 students who compete locally and internationally. Our KL students prepare for competitions including MNSBP, SIDO, Malaysia Youth Speakers Debating Championship, and Malaysian Novice British Parliamentary.
Whether your child is a complete beginner or an experienced debater looking to compete internationally, we have a program designed for their level and goals.
All programs run on Sundays at our TTDI venue.
Ages 9–11 · RM 360/month
Playful introduction to debate through games and structured speaking.
Ages 12–14 · RM 360/month
Communication, confidence, and BP/AP/WSDC formats.
Ages 15–17 · RM 360/month
Intensive competitive simulations and matter drills.
Ages 18+ · RM 360/month
Advanced debate for personal growth and leadership.
